Where our stories come from
Most stories here are retellings of public-domain tales (such as Aesop's fables and Thai folk tales) rewritten in our own words, or original stories written by our team. Every story credits its source at the end.

Illustrations on this site are created with Codex AI, not drawn by a human illustrator. We lock character identity with approved references and review every image by eye before publishing.
Who is responsible for the content
The Hoot Tales editorial team is responsible for provenance checks, writing and retelling, art direction, and quality review before publication. We do not invent author names, qualifications, or reviewers.
