This is a storybook site for kids, and we take everyone's privacy seriously — especially the children who come here to read. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
Data we collect
This site has no accounts or sign-ups, so we never collect personal or identifying information from readers. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymous visit data (like page views and popular pages) to improve the site and to inform future sponsorship/advertising decisions. Google Signals and ad personalization are always turned off, since our main audience is children.
Cookies and on-device storage
We use a NEXT_LOCALE cookie to remember your last chosen reading language, and Google Analytics cookies (such as _ga) to count anonymous visits (ad personalization is always turned off). We also use localStorage, stored only on your device, to remember favorites and the page where you stopped reading — this never gets sent back to us. No cookies are used for personalized advertising.
Third-party services
Illustrations were pre-generated with Pollinations.ai while writing the content; no visitor data is ever sent to that service. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to measure site traffic anonymously. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers, which may keep standard server logs.
Children's privacy
Even though our main audience is children, this site has no forms, no sign-ups, and never collects personal information directly from kids. Data collected through Google Analytics is anonymous, and ad personalization is always turned off.
