After strong wind, three seed types landed in the learning yard: thin winged seeds, hard floating seeds, and tiny hooked seeds. Hookhook, Jibjib, and Tuam guessed which would travel farthest, but each might need a different carrier.
Teacher Sailom used three clean models of each type. Winged models dropped from the same height in front of the teacher's hand fan, then landed on a measuring mat. They spun farther through air than the hard pieces.
In a shallow water channel, floating models reached the end while winged ones became wet and stopped. A screen caught every piece before the water returned to the garden, so none escaped into the canal.
Hooked models barely moved in a light breeze, but traveled on synthetic fuzzy cloth that Jibjib pulled across the table. They slipped sooner from smooth cloth. Carrier and surface mattered.
There was no single winner: wings worked with air, floating shapes with water, and hooks with fur-like surfaces. The teacher collected every model, and real local seeds went back to the garden keeper—not into the wild.
A seed's shape relates to how it travels, but nature experiments must not spread plants where they do not belong.
