The Whole House Said Goodnight

Daw dropped the last block into the basket—knock, tuck! Mom folded the play mat flat. The playroom was clear. Together they sang, “Dear little house, the day is done. / Hum, hush, click—rest, everyone. / Goodnight. Sleep snug till morning sun.”
