The Duck Family's Rainy Day

The duck family had planned a picnic by the pond this morning, but when they woke up, the sky was grey and rain had begun to fall. The little ducklings' faces fell with disappointment.

Mother duck smiled and told her children that instead of canceling their plans, why not turn the rainy day into a brand-new adventure instead?

The whole family went out to splash and play in the rain together, jumping in puddles and racing little leaf-boats down the rain streams, laughing with delight.

Suddenly, the smallest duckling slipped into a fast-moving rain stream and was swept away from her siblings. The whole family rushed after her and worked together to pull the little one safely back to shore.

The duck family waddled home soaked from head to tail, but with hearts full of joy. They had learned that rainy days can be just as fun as sunny ones, especially when the whole family works together.

Even when the weather changes our plans, a family that works together can turn any rainy day into a happy one.
