The Lost Puppy Finds His Way Home

Bobo was a fluffy little puppy who loved playing in the backyard with Kwan, his young owner, every day. One day, a beautiful orange butterfly fluttered by. Bobo excitedly chased after it through the open gate, not noticing just how far from home he had run.

When the butterfly disappeared from sight, Bobo stopped running and looked around. Everything looked strange and unfamiliar — he didn't recognize this street at all. Scared, he sat down trembling, until a kind cat named Miew came over to check on him and suggested he try sniffing the air. It might help him remember the way home.

Bobo sniffed the air and caught the smell of fresh bread from the bakery he used to pass with Kwan. He followed the scent for a while, until he grew tired and started to feel discouraged. Just then, a little bird named Peekfah flew by. She soared up high and told Bobo she could see a blue roof in the distance — his house was just that way.

Even though he was exhausted and his little legs ached, Bobo refused to give up. He kept walking in the direction Peekfah had shown him, one small step at a time, until at last he spotted a familiar white fence and a big tree. It was his very own street!

Bobo ran as fast as he could through the front gate. Kwan, who had been anxiously searching for him, shouted his name with joy and ran to hug him tight. The whole family was relieved and happy to have Bobo home again. Bobo himself felt so proud that he had stayed brave and kept going until he found his way back.

Even when we're scared or lost, if we stay brave and keep going one step at a time, we can always find our way back.
