The Owl Who Watched Over the Night

In a vast forest, while every animal slept soundly in the branches and hollows, only one owl stayed awake. It perched still on the tallest tree in the forest, watching over the peaceful quiet of the night with its large round eyes.

One night, as the owl kept its usual watch, it heard a faint whimper break the silence. Looking down, it spotted a baby squirrel that had fallen from its nest and couldn't climb back up, crying all alone in the dark.

Even though every other animal in the forest was fast asleep and no one else could help, the owl did not hesitate. It spread its wings and glided down from its high perch to gently comfort the crying baby squirrel.

With its strong talons, the owl gently cradled the little squirrel and carefully carried it back up to its high nest, where its worried mother was anxiously searching for it.

From that night on, the owl kept its quiet watch over the forest every single night, just as before. And all the animals slept soundly and peacefully, knowing that someone was always looking out for them, even when they couldn't see it themselves.

Being responsible and caring for others, even when no one is watching, is what makes everyone around us feel safe.
