Siblings Natee and Nam were arranging books on the library boat when the river gauge reached orange and the community phone warned of heavy rain. They stopped and called the adults, just as the plan required.

When water blocked the road to the community hall, the library boat stayed moored and became an information point. Nam posted collection times with symbols. Natee checked household lists with an adult without exposing unnecessary private details.

Neighbors delivered medicine, drinking water, and dry food in timed rounds. The children sorted supplies and read only official updates. They did not repeat an unverified rumor about a broken dam.

After the water fell, most books were dry and every household had received reliable information. The reopened boat gained a disaster shelf and a map of safe places, because good preparation protects people and the stories a community loves.
